FAQ

Common questions.

I get most of my work from word of mouth. Do I still need a website?

Word of mouth is great, and a website makes it work better. When someone recommends you, the next thing their friend does is look you up. A professional site confirms you’re legitimate and makes it easy to call.

Can you show my licence and ABN?

Yes. We’ll show your licence or registration numbers, ABN and insurance details wherever you’d like them, usually in the footer and near the quote form.

I don’t have good photos. Is that a problem?

Not at all. Phone photos of finished jobs work well. We’ll pick the best ones and tidy them up. Until you have more, we can use carefully chosen stock images that suit your trade.

How much does a website cost?

A Simple Site is $790 and a Business Site is $1,690. Both are fixed prices, so the number you see is the number you pay. Bigger projects start from $3,500 and are quoted before any work begins.

The only ongoing costs are your domain name (about $15–$30 a year, paid to the registrar) and the optional Care Plan at $29 a month.

How long will it take?

Most Simple Sites are ready to preview about a week after we have your details and photos. Business Sites usually take about two weeks. Once you approve the preview, launching takes a day or two.

Will I appear on Google?

We build every site so Google can read it properly: clear page titles, descriptions, a sitemap and business details in the format search engines look for. We also submit it to Google once it’s live.

No one can honestly guarantee a ranking. Where you appear depends on your competition, your reviews and your Google Business Profile, among other things. We set you up on the right foundations and show you what helps.
